The Affect You Have On Me

How can you not see the need in my eyes when it is as visible to a cat,
circulating around me.. trying to replenish my thirst.

How can you not see the affect you've struck upon me like lightening for its street light?
You've either fixed me or made me broken.

My body goes numb until you touch me,
I've either been brought to a dream or sucked back to reality.

It's the affect you have on me and it's the fact that you don't know it that makes me want you more..

How can you not see that it's you who spikes my pulse?
How can't you see my pupils dilate when you come my way?
How can't you see the blood from beyond my cheeks boiling?


How can't you see the you've cast upon me?



After all, it is your spell..
